Hot Girls Wanted The Movie (Arts and Culture)

When I was looking for the first episode of "Hot Girls Wanted" there was another result that was the same title, but it was a movie. I decided, "Hey, I think I will watch it". The film was a true story following girls entering the porn industry for the first time. What they all had in common was they all saw an add online saying "Hot girls wanted", and it was posted by a pimp who lived in Miami. This pimp rents out rooms in his house to these girls and takes them to shoots and asks for about 10% of their earnings. In the documentary, the girls talk about all their experiences in the industry, and what they have to say is sad and it was hard to watch at times. This film went hand and hand with "Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On" episode one which we had to watch for one of our readings. Between the two of them was the idea that the most popular porn is the abuse of women, and personally I think there should be regulations in porn to stop the publication of these abusive videos.

In the movie and the television show, there were mentions of abusive porn being the most prominent of pornography websites. In the movie, there was a graphic clip of one of the women participating in a sex act, but the man was abusing her. In the television show, one of the women who shoots sex films talked about porn, and how she will never conform to what is popular on websites like Pornhub. She mentions to her mom how in some porn videos, it is popular for a woman to receive a forced blow job and then her head is forced in the toilet and the man flushes the toilet. The thing that alarms me the most about this is that porn is so public---- this abuse is being recorded and published to the internet where is it is so easily accessible. With this being said, my question is this, "Why are there no one reporting this abuse? Why is there no regulation of what content is put on porn websites?" If someone goes to the police because they are being abused by someone, they do an investigation even though they haven't seen it happen, but in porn it is in front of the camera it is REAL, but no one is looking to take those videos down and investigate. They may think, "Oh, it's just for the camera", but according to these girls' stories in the movie, they feel violated doing these scenes. I think there should be regulations on what is publicized on porn websites because, for example, young boys may come across this content and think that what the men in these videos are doing is how to properly treat a woman.
