This is a female center movie with starts like Ann Hathaway, Rebel Wilson, Alex Sharp and Dean Norris. The film starts with Ann Hathaway character Josephine teaching Rebel Wilson Character Penny the art of how to con successful man. The film sees these two women competing for money then for the feelings of a man name Thomas. Later, in the film the two women or both con by Thomas and start to have sympathy for each other. In the ending all three realized they are trickster and form a team con and film close off with them all pulling off a job against a rich person. This course helped me understand that women and men or both capable of bad act. So, when the plot twist in the film of Thomas really being a con artist and he was the one playing the girls, I was not surprised. This class showed me that women endure a little more than men, so they are a little tougher mentally. In the film after both women got played, they were still able to keep going and look towards the future which turned out good for them. That’s true mental toughness. What I took away from this movie is don’t trust a pretty face. Also don’t brag about how much money you got. The people flaunting their money are the ones who don’t keep it for long. -Melvin
